Spectral Kindness

One of the few requests I received on Petopia involved a white lion rearing up on his hind legs to lick his mistress affectionately. This sparked my memory of a similar picture I had attempted to draw quite some time ago of Varethyn and his ghost sabre Myst doing the same emote so of course I had to go back and finish it. And then start it again cos it was in a crappy style I'd adopted when I first started drawing WoW stuff xD

I'm fairly happy with the finished product. Myst's anatomy could use a touch-up I feel, and her head gave me the biggest complications. The constant changes to it may be why her body looks awkward to me *shrug*. I am pleased with the ghostly effect I gave her however.

One question I find I've never been asked (though I don't often mention poor Myst so it may well have been forgotten), is along the lines of, "If Var's so freaked out by the undead, how come he has a ghost cat as a pet?"
