Avenging Wrath

You know something's up when Kithren Dawnweaver is angry. Normally the Light-wielding elf would calm his nerves with a good pint of something strong, but oftentimes there simply isn't any chance of that happening. Particularly if his friends and allies are in danger. That's when he harnesses that rage, in tandem with a prayer to the Light, to allow for righteous assault on his foes.

Random idea that was floating around in my mind, plus I wanted to try a different approach when drawing in the wings of light. Originally I was going to shade it, but my terribad skills would've ruined it completely, so I simply filled in the background instead.

Pretty pleased with the result. The ring-mail vest (what little of it is seen) was a real pain to get right, figuring out how to link all the rings together -and- keep it neat. Ugh.

Not overly happy with his pauldrons either, and the "background" is pretty sketchy and rough. At least it helped give the effect I wanted on the wings.
